Please read these terms carefully before using Quran Judge.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Quran Judge platform at www.quranjudge.com and the associated mobile application (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including organization administrators, judges, facilitators, competitors, and visitors.

2. Description of Service

Quran Judge is a digital platform for managing Quran recitation competitions. The Service provides:

  • Competition creation and management tools for organizations.
  • Digital scoring interfaces for judges with multiple scoring modes.
  • Live leaderboards and public queue boards.
  • Competitor registration and profile management.
  • Automatic question generation from Quran verses.
  • Multi-tenant organization isolation.
  • Mobile and web access across devices.

3. User Accounts & Roles

3.1 Organization Accounts

Organizations may request access to the platform by submitting an account request. Upon approval, organizations receive:

  • A unique 6-digit organization code for mobile access.
  • Administrator credentials for the web admin panel.
  • Full control over their competitions, competitors, judges, and facilitators.

3.2 User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when creating accounts or registering competitors.
  • Keep your credentials (passwords, PINs, organization codes) confidential and secure.
  • Not share judge or administrator PINs with unauthorized individuals.
  • Use the Service only for its intended purpose of managing Quran competitions.
  • Not attempt to access data belonging to other organizations.
  • Not use the Service for any unlawful or harmful purpose.

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, you should change your credentials immediately and contact us.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or computer systems.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission.
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or other harmful material.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Use the Service to collect personal information about others without their consent.
  • Modify, adapt, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

5. Competition Data & Scoring

5.1 Score Integrity

Quran Judge provides tools for fair and transparent competition scoring. However:

  • The platform does not guarantee the fairness or accuracy of individual judge scores.
  • Organization administrators are responsible for selecting qualified judges.
  • Score disputes should be resolved by the organizing institution, not by Quran Judge.

5.2 Public Display

By using the Service, organizations acknowledge that:

  • Live leaderboard data (competitor names, scores, rankings) may be publicly viewable.
  • Queue board data (current competitor, upcoming competitors) may be publicly viewable.
  • Competitor profiles (name, photo, bio, school) may be displayed on public-facing pages during competitions.

5.3 Quran Content

The Service uses the AlQuran.cloud API for Quran verse text and audio. Quran Judge does not claim ownership of Quranic content. The Quran is the word of Allah and is in the public domain.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and user interface, is owned by Quran Judge and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service without our written permission.

Organization data (competition records, competitor information, scores) remains the property of the respective organization.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance or updates.
  • Technical issues beyond our control.
  • Force majeure events.

We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience resulting from Service downtime, particularly during active competitions. Organizations should have contingency plans in place.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
  • Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (if any).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Quran Judge, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service.
  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your violation of any third-party rights.
  • Any content you submit through the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include:

  • Violation of these Terms.
  • Abusive or harmful use of the Service.
  • Extended inactivity.
  • Request by the organization administrator.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may, at our discretion, delete your data following termination.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Copyright Notice, constitute the entire agreement between you and Quran Judge regarding the use of the Service.
