- Judge & Facilitator Accounts: Name and PIN codes for accessing the judging platform.
- Competition Data: Scores, rubric configurations, competition settings, and results.
- Account Requests: Organization name, contact name, contact email, and message when requesting access to the platform.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, and general interaction patterns with the Service.
- Device Information: Browser type, operating system, and device type.
- Session Data: Session tokens for maintaining your login state.
2.3 Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect payment or financial information.

- Within Your Organization: Competition data, scores, and competitor information are shared with authorized administrators, judges, and facilitators within the same organization.
- Public Leaderboards: Competitor names, scores, and rankings may be displayed publicly on live leaderboard and queue board pages during active competitions.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.
- Service Protection: We may disclose information to protect the rights, safety, or property of Quran Judge, our users, or the public.
5. Data Isolation & Multi-Tenancy
Quran Judge is a multi-tenant platform. Each organization's data is logically isolated:
- Organizations can only access their own competitions, competitors, judges, and scores.
- Each organization is identified by a unique 6-digit organization code.
- Server-side access controls enforce data isolation between organizations.
- Organization administrators cannot view or modify data belonging to other organizations.
6. Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS).
- Session-based authentication with secure cookies.
- PIN-based access control for judges, facilitators, and mobile administrators.
- Session blocking to prevent concurrent logins on multiple devices for judges and facilitators.
- Server-side tenant scoping to prevent unauthorized cross-organization access.
While we strive to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your organization account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specifically:
- Competition data (scores, rounds, results) is retained indefinitely for historical reference.
- Competitor profiles and judge accounts are retained as long as the parent organization account exists.
- Account request data is retained for administrative purposes.
- You may request deletion of your organization's data by contacting us.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with the following third-party services:
- AlQuran.cloud API: Used to fetch Quran verse text and audio for competition questions. This is a read-only integration — no personal data is sent to this service.
- Google Fonts: Used for typography. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
9. Children's Privacy
Quran Judge is used in educational and community settings where minors may participate as competitors. We collect only the minimum information necessary for competition management (name, age, school). Competitor accounts for minors should be created with the knowledge and consent of a parent, guardian, or the organizing institution.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
